If you ask anyone to name a single video game that set the bar for fighting video games for all of history, most people would be quick to come up with a response: Mortal Kombat. Appearing at the end of the 20th century, this game would become iconic in its own right and one of the most famous titles in its genre. Since then, there have been numerous releases in the Mortal Kombat series. This download is for Mortal Kombat Project, a free version for Windows PC.
Mortal Kombat Project is one of many games available in the series, but this one is completely free. It was designed by the developers at Geocities based on the M.U.G.E.N. engine, and gives you access to all of the characters that have been part of the game over the years in all previous versions of Mortal Kombat, in particular, Mortal Kombat III.
In total, that makes more than 30 incredible characters ready to be played so you can destroy your opponent, each one with their own personal fighting techniques, special moves, and of course the classic “Fatality” that we all fondly remember from Mortal Kombat.
